Louisiana Iris Botanical Statement Earrings

Celebrate our beautiful Louisiana landscape with this collection of native (or long-ago adopted) plants. The Iris giganticaerulea earrings feature etching, inlay, and hand-painted sections to achieve this detailed look. (They are heavier than my usual featherlight designs, so if you’re sensitive, I recommend using Lobe Wonders). All my jewelry begins with pen and paper — I think of these earrings as wearable drawings. Asymmetry and an uneven line reminds the wearer that they were made by human hand. These acrylic earrings feature hypo-allergenic Titanium post backs.
