Current Board Member Susan Smythe’s repurposed infinity scarves are hand sewn from vintage silk fabrics and influenced by Japanese pattern books on how to use kimono fabric to create modern clothing. The narrow width of the scarf creates a definite design and sewing challenge for the maker.
