Kristy Bishop
Kristy Bishop is a fiber artist focused on weaving, natural dyeing, surface design, and historically-inspired costume. She lives and works in Charleston and has participated in artist residencies at the Gibbes Museum of Art Summer 2019, city of North Charleston in 2012-2013 and at 701 CCA in 2015.
She is constantly experimenting with natural dyes; combining everything from avocado skins, indigo, madder root, Osage orange, and sweet gum leaves.
