Local Maker: Wry Works Sculpture

Posted by Erin Nathanson on

We have been checking in with our local artisans to see how they are doing during COVID-19. Many have adjusted their working process to help flatten the curve during this time of quarantine. Today we received this wonderful statement from wire sculptor Zach Higgins of Wry Works Sculpture.

‘Discomfort yields progress - although it is a scary and uncertain time, this quarantine has allowed me to focus on some processes that I wouldn’t have slowed down otherwise to figure out. For this, and my health, I am thankful and appreciate everyone who has supported me during this. Truly, you keep me going. I’m excited to have lots of new avenues of work to come including some glass and wire collage, consistent earring collections, an online store, and some other weird experiments. Looking forward to getting back in the swing of things so be on lookout- let’s make something!’ 💥🙏

We are right there with you Zach!
